Published sources come first
Every fact starts with a published source. The first stop is the venue's own site, gcvancouver.com. Next come official bodies: BCLC and its casino site, casinosbc.com, the Province at gov.bc.ca, and TransLink for buses.
Listing and review sites can help show what to look for. Their numbers are not repeated here, and they are not named.
When sources disagree
Sometimes two sources give different numbers. When that happens, the flyer does not pick one. The number is left out.
A few examples:
- Slot and table counts. No official count is published, and the unofficial figures do not match. The flyer just calls it a large gaming floor.
- Poker room hours. The venue does not publish them, and other sources disagree. The flyer points you to the venue instead.
- Theatre seats. Published seat counts differ, so no single figure is given as fact.
If you need a missing detail, the venue's own site is the place to check.
Hours and open or closed
Hours on these pages are the published hours, shown as the source shows them. If a venue changes its hours, the flyer catches up at its next check.
On the This week page, the open or closed label is worked out from those published hours in Pacific time. It is a calculation, not a live report. Holiday hours are not published, so on a statutory holiday, check with the casino before you go.
Distances
Distances in the flyer are straight-line distances. They are not walking or driving routes, so the real trip will be longer.
TransLink route 159 runs along United Boulevard. TransLink does not say which stop is closest to the casino, and it gives no walking time. The Getting there page sticks to what is published.
What the flyer does not do
The flyer does not visit venues, phone staff, test games or count machines in person. Nothing here is based on a visit or an interview.
The flyer is not a casino. It takes no bets and has no accounts. Inner pages carry no ads. The Ads and money page explains how the site is paid for.
When it was last checked
These pages were last checked in October 2026.
Things change. The casino changed owners on May 5, 2026. On April 13, 2026, the provincial regulator changed from GPEB to the Independent Gambling Control Office. Facts with a date say so, in an "as of 2026" style.
