The casino in a few lines
Cascades Casino Delta is at 6005 Highway 17A, in the Ladner area of Delta, close to the Massey Tunnel. Gateway Casinos & Entertainment runs it. It opened on 29 September 2022, which makes it the newest casino in this flyer.
It is also the farthest from home. As the crow flies, it is 27.2 km from Coquitlam City Centre and 20.6 km from the casino on United Boulevard. For the actual route, TransLink's trip planner or a map will give it to you.
Getting in
The rules are the same as at every casino in BC. You must be 19 or older. Everyone shows government-issued photo ID at the door, whatever their age.
Security scans the ID and checks it against the list of people barred from gambling facilities, including people enrolled in Game Break. BCLC says it keeps no personal information for people who are let in.
Bring the original card. Photos and copies are not accepted. A driver's licence, BC Services Card, BCID or passport all work, among others. The full list is on the first-visit page.
On the floor
As of July 2026, the venue's gaming page lists more than 500 slot machines, 18 live table games and electronic table games. The site's gaming menu shows Slots, Table Games and the Diamond Arena.
There is no poker room. Coverage of the 2022 opening noted no poker tables, and the current site has no poker page.
Timing matters here more than anywhere else in the flyer. The floor opens at 11 AM. It closes at midnight Sunday to Thursday and at 2 AM on Friday and Saturday.
Live tables keep their own, shorter hours. They open at 2 PM on Saturday and Sunday and at 4 PM Monday to Friday, then close with the floor. An afternoon of blackjack is a weekend plan here.
The casino uses Encore Rewards. Joining is free at the Guest Services desk with valid ID.
Food, drink and the hotel
Gateway lists three places to eat and drink: The Buffet, the Summit Bar and MATCH Eatery & Public House. This flyer does not have their hours. The venue publishes them, so check before you plan a meal around one.
The site is also home to a Marriott hotel, Delta Hotels Vancouver Delta, with a convention centre that hosts events. Rooms and rates are on the hotel's own booking pages.
The venue says the facility is accessible to customers with disabilities. Wheelchairs, accessible formats and communication supports are available on request.
Compared with United Boulevard
Here is how Delta lines up against Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, using only what both venues publish.
| Cascades Delta | United Boulevard | |
|---|---|---|
| Slots | More than 500 | Over 920, by the venue's count |
| Live tables | 18 | 37 |
| Electronic tables | Yes | 42 |
| Poker room | None | 10 tables |
| Live table hours | From 2 PM or 4 PM, until midnight or 2 AM | Mon to Thu 10 AM to 4 AM; Friday 10 AM to Monday 4 AM |
| Opened | 2022 | 2001, as Casino Coquitlam |
| Runs it | Gateway Casinos & Entertainment | Petroglyph Development Group, since May 5, 2026 |
| Rewards card | Encore Rewards | Encore Rewards |
In short, Delta is the smaller floor with the earlier night. If poker is the reason for going out, United Boulevard has the room. If you want live tables on a weekday morning or after midnight, United Boulevard publishes those hours and Delta does not. The same Encore Rewards card works at both.
Before you go
- Check the hours on the official Cascades Casino Delta site on the day. They are not 24/7, and the tables start later than the floor.
- Questions go to the casino at 604-921-3200.
- Pack your original photo ID.
- Decide on your budget and your time before you set off. A long trip can make it tempting to stay longer than planned.
- Every BC casino has a GameSense Info Centre with advisors on site, if you want to talk.
If gambling has stopped feeling like fun, Gambling Support BC is free and open 24/7 at 1-888-795-6111. More on our gambling support page.
